USB support ?

Hi, we are running ESX 3.5u3, and have a physical windows 2003 server using a usb-dongle . Is it possible to convert this to a virtual server, and still get the usb-dongle working ?

yes, but you would have to use a device like the following

Hello,

Direct USB support is not available so you would need to use a USB over IP device. For a dongle you want one that locks the dongle to a given VM.

Yep, you want USBAnywhere. This will allow you to still vMotion your VMs using the USB devices too. Keeping availability up and everyone happy
