Svmotion

All,

Please let me know how to do svmotion in in command line in ESX 3.5?

download and install the RCLI.

http://www.vmware.com/download/vi/drivers_tools.html

the easiest way do to it from command line is interactive, so you would type:

svmotion --interactive

This will walk you through a series of questions.

download the rcli, and run the command svmotion with the "--interactive" option.

You can't do it from a command line in ESX, you do it from a Remote Command Line Interface which is a downloadable appliance also.

Or you can simply use this:

Can I install this plug -in on my desktop or This needs to be installed on VC? Since we are in yearend freeze I cann't install on VC.
