Sun Quad port

Good day all,

I know this is a shot in the dark but is there anyway of loading the sunhme module for the Sun Microsystems Happy meal card on my ESX server? The card is detected and can be selected during setup but module does not load at startup or cannot be loaded manaully.

Any ideas/advice would be highly appreciated.

Hello,

If the card and driver for the card is not on the HCL, then it is not supported. It is possible to install on systems with unsupported cards, but will not work when ESX boots.... http://www.vmware.com/pdf/vi35_io_guide.pdf
