Mixed Hardware in ESX cluster

I have 4 ESX servers. Three of them are DL-380 G3's and one is a DL-380 G4. I have flags about the available resources all over the place. Will the difference in hardware cause issues with my HA clusters and DRS?

you may have problems with vMotion and your cluster. Here are a couple links to look at

What version of ESX are you using? You can adjust the slot size for HA calculations, if the warnings you are getting are for insufficient resources for HA. Otherwise, as Troy pointed out, you may have other issues related to mismatched CPUs.

Hello,

If your DRS is enabled then these errors could be caused when it tries to move VMs between the g4 and g3 servers. This is a vMotion issue.
