Which year VCP-DCV do you have?

if you have a VCP-DCV 2020 or newer then you can renew your certification by taking an exam. If your VCP-DCV is 2019 or older than you have to take a qualifying course as well as an exam.

With only the exam and no prior qualifying certifications, you will have to complete a training.
