Best method for having thin client remote into VM?

I hope I picked the right I don't know if ThinApp is appropriate.

I have a HP ThinClient t430 with Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC on it.  It is on the same network as an ESXi server.  On startup,  I want this thin client to remote into one of the VM's that is running on the ESXi server.

The thin client has VMWare Horizon Client on it and Citrix Workspace.  I was being asked to try to use VMRC though that seems inappropriate as now the thin client has the ability to change the hardware settings of the VM if it turns it off not to mention it requires ESXi credentials to login.

I am new to this - we don't have a thin client guy and I am being asked to become that guy.  What is the best practice here?  I know I could just RDP but our customer wants to avoid that and use something else related to VMWare.  What is the standard way to setup a thin client in this scenario?

Hi @bkarabinchak,

You can use VMware Horizon to deliver desktops and apps on the HP ThinClient.

There is a nice TechZone article that provides guidance on the VMware Horizon architecture.
