Does vSphere with Tanzu support Encryption

We have deployed vSphere with Tanzu on vSphere U3 Environment.

Now we are trying to encrypt the DISKs by applying Encryption Policy..

Do we have any guide for this? I keep getting these two follwing errors when trying to apply the policy.

- Permission to perform this operation was denied. No Permission.message.format > Displayed on the VM

- A general system error occured: Key locator error api = DiskLib_Clone, currDiskPath -> Value*0 = [vmdk_path] > Displayed on the ESXi host

Any answer would be much appreciated!

Hi,

Double checking Cryptographic Operations Privileges might help. See here and here as well.

I'm using an Administrator account for the operation.

Administorator has all the Crypto related privileges, tho.

Any thing that I'm missing here?

I've successfully encrypted other VMs. Looks like it's only Tanzu related VMs that's not being encrypted, and new nodes are also not being properly deployed as it fails to deploy OVF.
