UDP performance tuning question?

I've some problem about udp performance control, on my guest OS have already deployed VMwaretools with vmxnet as network driver. Are there anyway to modify network adapter performace as real physical nics ? (because vmxnet is too ideal!) please give me some example parameters and value which works.

• What guest OS are you using? 32 or 64 bit?

• Have you tried adding ethernet0.features=0 to your .vmx file? (unregister+register it after modifying it manually)

• Have you tried using e1000 to see if the performance is equally bad there?
