Network issues after upgrade

Just upgraded our collector from 2.1 to 2.5.  after reboot, it had lost most of it's network config.  best I could tell, it lost the default gateway.  I have reset the gateway and can ping devices on the same /24 network and our DC/DNS machines on another network (routed across the gateway).  Vcenter server is on the same subnet, but I get Destination host unreachable.  Network config looks good and the ip route entry seems to look ok as well.  I can ping vcenter server within the same network and from outside the network (from my machine)

Any thoughts?

Hello thomasacook,

It's strange but you may try configuring another IP of the same subnet.

Check if there is PVLAN configured.

I hope you have changed the IP using vami config utility. Kindly validate the network configuration (IP, DNS, Gateway) running the below command, login into skyline shell.

/opt/vmware/share/vami/vami_config_net

Sincerely,

PLVAN was the thought I needed to consider.  Thanks.
