Change IP Addresses of Recovery Site Servers

I had to change all recovery site server (vcenter, SRM) ip addresses since we relocated our DR facility.  I can't get SRM to connect now.  It looks like it is referencing the old address.  I saw an article that I have to change the database then reinstall.  This sounds pretty drastic!  Why would the ip addresses be stored and not FQDN in the database?

Please tell me there is another way...

No one has ever changed their recovery SRM server and recovery vcenter ip address?

I opened a ticket with VMware so I'll update the post once I have a resolution.

So we had to poke around in the database and manually change the addresses for the DR SAN and vCenter server as well as recreate certificates by running a bunch of command line tools that come with SRM...  We also had to run a "Repair" on SRM to have it see the new/updated addresses..

It was a real pain and I think it would have been quicker to just reinstall!
