Vmtools for Windows Server 2012 on ESXi5.1

ESX Version used :ESXi 5.1

Guest OS: Windows Server 2012

     Vmtools not getting installed on above setup & no error pop-up getting displayed.Is there any workaround or steps to install Vmtools other than selecting:Vm - Guest - Install/Upgrade Vmtools"

Check by performing either of these tasks:

Task 1:

- Poweroff the VM

- Change the settings of video display of VM to enable Accelerate 3D Graphics

- Restart the VM

- Repair tools.

If the above is unsuccessfull:

If you right click on the virtual machine and choose Edit Settings -- when you click on "VIdeo" in the left panel, on the right panel is a checkbox for "Enable 3D Graphics".

I don't see "Video", I see "Video card". I see a box for "Enable 3D support", but it is greyed out. This is ESXi 5.0 U2 if that matters.
