I try to use hardware virtualization in VmWare 15.5 Pro. I have used it before but for some reason it stops working.
I suspect a Windows update. Host has Windows 10 Enterprise 20H2.
Guest have Windows 10 Pro.
The error when start:
VMware Workstation does not support nested virtualization on this host.
Module 'MonitorMode' power on failed.
Failed to start the virtual machine.
I don't care about Hyper-V, Windows Subsystem for Linux or Windows SandBox.
I just want maximum speed in VmWare WorkStation.
What I have done so far.
Turned off Hyper-V in Turn Windows features on or off.
Is there a checklist to follow to get this solved ?
Now my VM is slow as molasses even with a modern laptop with Intel I7 9th generation.
