Access Denied. No Valid Certificate Presented.

Hi,

I am getting the error, "Access Denied. No Valid Certificate Presented." when attempting to add a server. On windows, once I add the server i'm prompted for my certificate and PIN, then the server gets server gets added. Any help getting this to work would be appreciated. Log file attached

VMWare verstion 2206, build 8.6.0 (20094634)

My OS is Manjaro with kernel 5.15.65-1

Computer is a Dell M4800

I'm using the built-in cardreader and also trying a usb SCR-3310 card reader.

Both card readers work on my system and I can log into smart-card authenticated sites (I'm using a military CAC). I can see in the terminal with pcsc_scan both readers and when the card is inserted and removed.

Sounds like there is not a certificate on the CAC itself that is supposed to work with the Connection Gateway.
I'm not sure how many certs a CAC can have, but I do know that the badge can be linked to work with certain doors, VPNs, ect.

Perhaps the cert needs to be updated or the cert permissions need to be expanded.

As a workarround you can go to vmware-view client and click on file >> Preferences and change certificate behaviour there.

You can disable certificate check (But this is not safe).
