I have a problem that i'm hoping there is a somewhat simple solution to.
I have a cluster of 12 Hosts, 3 of these hosts have NVIDIA GPUs that we want designated for specific Applications\Servers. The issue is that the desktop VM's also migrate to these servers but I would like to keep the desktops off of these servers. I have attempted to use VM Rules and Groups but this does not work due to a VM gets removed from a group when it is recomposed or recovered.
I also have an idea of setting up another Distributed Switch with Different names for the networks so that the desktop VM's could not migrate to those hosts due to hosts using another Distributed Switch\Names, but I don't know if you can use the same vmnics within to separate Distributed switches, is this possible ?
