VDI Status Ready(missing)

I had a VDI completly crash on me yesterday. We are using Net App snap manager to perform backups so I did a backup from the day before. THe machine came back on line and I can rdp and log in and everything is working great. However, in the admin console, under status, it is says the machine is Ready(missing). I tried to do a repair on the agent and when the install was finished I get the following error.

Error 28053 A .dll failed to register. Please see the most recent %temp%\vmist*.log file for details. When I go look at the log, there is nothing in it.

This is the 2nd time i have got this error and each time I haven't been able to get the console to see the VDI.

Any suggestions?
