Unable to access view connection

Hi all,

I have installed View manager in a Windows Standar Server 2003, the server in on domain but when i try to access view administrator, the page cant displayed.

This is the log. It seems that could not connet via 443 and 4001 ports.

Could you guide me through this problem?

This happens even when you are logged on the console and browsing locally to the web server? Maybe check your firewall settings. Also check if all VMware services are started properly

Thanks for your response.

I cant connect anyway from the view connection localy and not form other machine.

The firewall is disabled.

The services are view connection server and the view VDMDS are both activated.

The machine is into domain and dns registered.

Ii´s possible that it would be neccesary to install a web server.(IIS, Apache...).?

Seeing the log there is a problem with port 4001 (view manager coneection server JMS connection)

The problem has been solved when i have installed the previous 3.0.1 version of View Manager instead of 3.1.

Hi,

I am arriving a bit late, but I just had the same issue and solved it by removing the MS patch KB956572

there is also some information about how to configure the heap size in the admin guide

p44 § Java Virtual Machine
