I have an ongoing issue with my master image Win7 machine. When I launch the task scheduler, i get the following error message (see attach)
I've cleaned up the corrupted task before as per https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2305420/ms10-092-vulnerability-in-task-scheduler-could-allo... but it keeps coming back. Can't help but think this is somehow being affected by something in my mater image.
Has anyone encountered this issue before?
Regards,
NewbVMDude I'm getting the same issue - did you find a solution?
Its a handy task to keep on board as it will restart a critical service if it dies (as I understand it - did zero research).
I haven't done so yet, but I'm thinking of doing a quickprep script to delete the file in the tasks directory, and then do an import.... but it's sloppy. I'd be keen to know why it's happening too.
I was able to resolve my issue by following this article https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows8_1-performance/failed-to-schedule-software... Plus I had to search the registry for the svcrestart task and GUID and deleted everything related to it.
