I am wondering if when someone uses a Windows machine, for example, to connect to a virtual desktop, is any data saved on the hard drive of the machine being used to connect. I needo determine if anything is saved in saved in such places as...Internet Temp Folders, and maybe in Swap space, Hibernation file, slack space and other ambient data storage in the hard drive.
There is a image cache stored in memory during the session but not after the session is completed.
I guess there are some MRU being cached as the connection-broker URL and the username but no data from the remote desktop unless you do a copy/past or filetransfer.

Just to add to what was already said... If you want to know what a program/process is doing have a look at Process Explorer and Process Monitor.
