Floating Automated Pool two users contesting for the same vm

As the subject states I have an automated floating pool and twice now we have had two users (different users each time) contesting for the same vm. I've just deleted the contested vm and let it rebuild both times but twice in two days? Is this just a bug or is there something I can do? Thank you in advance.

How do you know if its contested? Usually with a floating pool it should randomally pick one till you run out and then provide a message when you run out.

Because the events show one user getting disconnected and the other getting the same vm.

are you sure the first user ever had a session on that machine? It could also be assigned but the user failed to properly connect with the machine returning to an available state. Can you share the events for the machin please?
