Hi
I would like to know how to recover from a failure in the following components.
・HCX NetworkExtention
・HCX Interconnect
・HCX WAN Optimization
If there is a way other than redeploying Service Mesh, I would appreciate it if you could tell me the procedure.
Usually the quickest way would be to resync and/or redeploy the mesh. The manager holds all of the config and the OVF files.
Hi ChrisFD2.
Thank you reply messages.
I need to remove the existing Service Mesh before redeploy, or should I operate from "EDIT SERVICE MESH" and FINISH?
If there is a problem, usually a 'resync' would be the first thing to try.
Hi ChrisFD2.
I tried to verify.
I have confirmed that REDEPLOY is done by removing the appliance and then resyncing.
(WAN was not in the environment, so only IX and NE...)
Follow the steps below as a basic recovery method in the event of a failure on the three appliances.
1. Deletion of failed appliance
2. Run resync from Service Mesh (Appliance RED EPLOY)
Best Regards.
Manual intervention against the VM in vSphere should not be required, this should be left to the HCX manager.
Is it possible to check the log in case of automatic recovery?
It would show in vSphere logs, also within syslog if HCX is configured to forward logs to a syslog server.

Seems like there's an echo in here, that's exactly what I wrote in my original reply.
