HCX with Cisco ACI

HCX with Cisco ACI

Source and Destination has Cisco ACI configured i.e. no standard switch/Dv Switch and NSXT.

streched network already created using Cisco ACI. So we do not want the HCX network extension to be used.

Question is will HCX be able to discover the Cisco ACI network on source and destination and allow the migration of VM?

It looks like this is an unsupported configuration, see here: https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-HCX/4.5/hcx-user-guide/GUID-DBDB4D1B-60B6-4D16-936B-4AC632606909.h...

Please reach out to VMware Technical Support or your TAM/SAM (if available) to find out about possible support options.

We do not want to use Network extension. That is already been taken care by Cisco ACI.

The migration is plane and simple. Get VMs migrated from source(on CiscoACI network) to destination(Cisco ACI network).
