This happens if you did the following:

1) Migrated your old machine (intel) to a new one (m1)

2) Had Fusion installed during the migration

3) Had a VM set to auto-launch that no longer exists

4) Installed Fusion for ARM

Basically it's looking for an old intel-VM to launch that doesn't exist.  Clear the error and open the VM library manually, then delete the old intel VM entries from the library.

Hello, yes i installed Fusion for ARM because the link in the blog post was redirected to me this page https://customerconnect.vmware.com/downloads/get-download?downloadGroup=FUS-PUBTP-2021H1 . is this correct version?

i understood the problem, it was trying to open a previous deleted vm and it gives the error. I double clicked to Vmware Fusion then selected Vmware Library, it works now. Thanks
