Just wondered if anyone was aware of any restrictions in moving licenses between countries - I would like to reassign some of our existing vsphere licences from our UK office for use in our office in Dubai?
for this kind of licensing question, I'd recommend you send an email to VMware directly or ask your VMware partner/reseller. Please read http://www.vmware.com/download/eula/esxi50_eula.html for details about the restrictions regarding the usage of the licenses in other countries.
I think, there are some restrictions with this transfer, but it's possible. Agreed with Andre, you should ask nearest VMware partner/reseller about it.
