vbs (virtualization based security) support in esxi?

Hello,

does ESXi 6.5 support VBS (virtualization based security)?

our 2016 vm is set to uefi and secure boot, but i cannot find a setting for VBS anywhere, as seen in this screenshot in step 4

https://www.virtuallyghetto.com/2017/10/tip-from-engineering-use-uefi-firmware-for-windows-10-server...

background: i am trying to enable credential guard, and it requires VBS.

thanks,

rr

VBS is only supported in virtual hardware version 14 and later, which at this point is only supported by Fusion 10 and Workstation 14.  vSphere 6.5 currently supports HW version 13.  Support for VBS would have to come in a future update to vSphere, if at all.  So your only current option is the secure boot checkbox:

Obviously, that doesn't help with credential guard and the requirement for VBS.
