@doigobindamonda - You can still download it. However following the Broadcom acquisition, you now only have the option of a 60 day trial license, or you must purchase the product. The perpetual free license has been terminated.
One other option is to sign up for VMUG Advantage for $210 a year, and get access to ESXi, vCenter and various other software for 365 day non production licenses. See https://www.vmug.com/membership/vmug-advantage-membership/
