"Unsupported and/or invalid disk type 8"

This weekend I had a disk crash on my server where I store the image files for my virtual machines.

I have an old copy (6 months) of the virtual machine from when we

migrated back in October of last year from VMWare server :smileyshocked: to our now ESXi 4 server. I copied that over, but

when I started it I am now getting the message:

Failed to open disk scsi0:0: Unsupported and/or invalid disk type 8.

Did you forget to import the disk first? Unable to create virtual SCSI

device for scsi0:0.

I would love to "import the disk" .... if I knew what that meant. ?:|

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

The best bet here is to download the VMware standalone converter and convert the VMware Server guest to the ESXi host
