I have several ESXi 4.1 (U1 & U2) host servers. For some VM's, Performance > Disk would show the "No metrics specified" message.
I have no idea why some VM's have "Disk" statistics while others don't. What to do to make "Disk" statistics available?
I have, however, noticed one difference between those having "Disk" statistics than those without:
* The VM's which do NOT have "Disk" statistics have these performance options:
CPU, Disk, Memory, Network, Power, System, Default
* The VM's which HAVE "Disk" statistics have these options:
CPU, Datastore, Disk, Memory, Network, Power, System, Virtual Disk
Other than that, I'm sure VM Tools versions don't make any difference. Neither do ESXi version or server brand marks.
I'd appreciate it a lot if someone could help me get the statistics.
