Vmware data used space on the datastore is bigger than VMware hardware configured

Hi Guys,

I create an VMware with harddisk 1: 90 GB and hard disk 2: 300 GB, total size: 390 GB, but I see this VM take 472 GB on datastore.

I don't know why size on datastore  is bingger than my configured.

Could you help me resolve this issue please?

Note: No snapshot was taken, swap memory is off

You are right but maybe there was orphaned snapshot disk.

Consolidate virtual machine and migrate virtual machine to another datastore, then check used space again.

Show the content of the VMs directory with WinSCP, make sure the full filenames are displayed.

Or show the vmx-file.
