Vmware 5.5 Windows Server 2012 very slow

Hello,

I currently have a problem with one of my VM running under Windows Server 2012 behind hypervisuer VMware 5.5.

Indeed this server requires a reboot at least once a week see because it becomes extremely slow when it resource consumption and minimum. After the reboot is again completely fluid.

On the same host as VMWare WIndows Server 2008 I did not worry.

Do you have any ideas where that might come ?

Can you detail the server configuration?

  • VMware Tools?
  • Network Adapter?
  • SCSI Adapter?
  • How many disks?
  • How much RAM?
  • How many vCPU
  • Any other devices?

  • Network Adapter?
    VMXNET 3
  • How many disks?
    1 hard disk (Fiber channel)
  • How much RAM?
    12Gb
  • How many vCPU
    8 vCPU
  • Any other devices?
