VM will not connect to CD device or ISO

ESXi 4.1 VMs will no longer connect cdrom, client D;, client ISO, Local CD Drive, all with negative results. It's as if an attempt top connect was not made.

have you try to restart management service? #/sbin/services.sh restart or do it from DCUI
