Unable to update the latest patch for ESXi 6 Server

Hi,

I am trying to update the latest patch to my home ESXi server. But I am getting following error. Could you please help me to resolve this issue?

[root@adesxi:~] esxcli network firewall ruleset set -e true -r httpClient

[root@adesxi:~] esxcli software profile update -p ESXi-6.0.0-20160804001-standard -d https://hostupdate.vmware.com/software

Aaaah the infamous url error... While the error code is not much user friendly, it does help a little bunch Smiley Happy

I suspect your ESXi server is unable to resolve the dns of the webpage. You can either check on the dns setting and doing a ping to the site or you can provide the IP address of the url.

Plaese verify gateway and DNS!

I have same problem and currect gateway from VMK port.
