Unable to add a second iSCSI Target to ESXi hosts

For some reason I am not able to add a second iSCSI target to any of my ESXi hosts. I was able to add the first one which is on the same subnet as the second one with no issues. But when I try to add the IP address of the second iSCSI target in the dynamic discovery tab and do the rescan, the iSCSI target doesn't show up in the datastores section. Does the ESXi has one iSCSI target limitation?. I have vSphere Enterprise License, so I don't think it's a license issue. Please advise on the matter. Thank you.

Hi,

What is the iscsi target that you are adding? Is it a SAN or a NAS device? Can you check to make sure that everything on that target is enabled for connectivity using iSCSI? Has space been allocated to a volume and does that volume have the configuration necessary to be accessed via iSCSI?

I am not sure the iSCSI limit but i highly doubt its 2.

hello

so the second one is in a different subnet? did you make a extra vmkernel port for that subnet used for the iSCSI target? if not create one

also check VLAn if you used it ofcourse. are the vlans correct
