Reset my ESXi forgotten password

Hi, anybody will help me to reset my ESXi password. Actually, I directly install VMware ESXi 6.0.0 on my PC, which means it is now a Type 2 Hypervisor. How can I reset my Password because F12 does not work to proceed may commend, like to press 'a' and then type single and so on?

Reinstalling ESXi is the only supported way as mentioned.

However, you may try an unsupported way if this is not a critical production system.

Please consider to backup important data/VMs before following these steps to avoid data loss in case something goes wrong!
