NTP time source

I have configured My ESXi 4.0 hosts to use a NTP server.

Question: If I lose my NTP time source will the ESXi hosts (or VCenter) log anything if they cannot find the NTP server? If so, where is the log/event.

Im not sure where the log is for that but it should keep the time correct. It just uses the NTP server to update its time periodically. If the NTP server is lost it will do its best to keep correct time. Which for the most part should be fine.

I imagine though tha the log of that would end up in the host events, but im not sure about that.
