My domain is: mycompany.company.org (I know, three sections it already looks like a subdomain but it's not)
We have a subdomain: efs.mycompany.company.org
When I join the domain, I put in: mycompany.company.org and I logged in with the domain administrator. It joined just fine. The VMWare server appears in the "Computers" folder of Active Directory. However, the trusted domain in the client shows "efs.mycompany.company.org" and so I cannot authenticate. Why is it choosing the sub-domain?
