My apologies if I am posting this in the wrong area.
I am trying to install VMware 5.5 on a Sunfire x4600, but I get a blank screen after the installer.
It was suggested I install 4.4 or 4.5 as 5.5 does not support the older drivers on our server.

The previous versions before 5.5 were 5.1, 5.0, 4.1 and 4.0. There was no 4.4 or 4.5.
