Invalid memory can't resume or shutdown

I'm using Fusion 6.0.5 on a macbook, I started a Vm I imported from another laptop and the memory setting is more than on the macbook.  It gives me an error and takes me to the settings page.  I can't change the memory, and if I try to close the settings box it gives me an "Invalid memory size" error.  How do I solve this?

Shut everything down, remove the VM from inventory and open the .vmx file with a text editor and edit the line that has something like this...

memsize = "1024"

Change the size to something within the range your computer can handle then save the file.

Add the VM back into Fusion and try now.

It's not a good idea to over provision unless you make changes to the host computers settings and VM settings.
