How to install the third party driver on ESXI installation time?

Hi Everyone,

I want to install the network driver on HP profilant server  , while ESXI5.0  Installtion time ,How to install the Third-prty driver on ESXI5.0 installation?

Like windows press F6 to install the driver on installation.Please share your answers, its really update my knowledge,

I beleive the route for doing this is to create a custom image using PowerCLI - check this blog post here:  http://blogs.vmware.com/vsphere/2012/04/using-the-vsphere-esxi-image-builder-cli.html

This powerCLI is also how you would create images for using auto-deploy but think this solves your question as well.

I think they gave you some good suggestions.

But the easiest way is find your ESXi Installation ISO for your HP server from HP site.

I just installed my HP DL380 G8 Server with the HP ESXi ISO. It works fine.

Through the  official ESXi ISO, some drivers may be missing and cause the installation stopped.

ESXi-Customizer can help you create the ISO if you have the drivers, I remember vib type. But sometime, it is really hard to find.
