HOME LAB HA QUICKSTART

Dear All,

 I have vmware 8.0 lab at my home where I am trying to do HA with my 2 ESXI host using Vcenter 8.0 I have already enalbed the HA and its working very fine but when I click the QUICKSTART button I see that only one host is added. Please help. check the attached picture.

How does your setup (cluster configuration) look like right now?
Are both hosts in the same cluster?

Yes both the request server are in the cluster and also just to verify I rebooted one HOST and all the Vms were moved to another HOST with out any issues.

Its is a very simple LAB one shared storage connected to 2 ESXI HOST and VCENTER is Running in Virtualization.

According to this, it looks like HA is already configured!?

When you look at the 2 hosts, does one of them appear as HA primary, and the other as HA secondary?

What may be something to try, is to select both hosts, and run "Reconfigure for HA".
If that succeeds, and the hosts show as primary/secondary, then I'd assume some sort of issue with Quickstart.

Ensure both hosts are part of the same cluster. Check if one is designated as HA primary and the other as secondary. Try "Reconfigure for HA" on both hosts simultaneously.
