Hello,

I try to install ESXi on an Asrock H470m ITX, which has 2 lan

- intel 219-v

- RTL8125BG

I know there is no driver for the RTL, but for the intel it should be ok.

But, when I launch ESXi 7.0U1c there is no network card.

Can you help me ?

Hi,

Get a $15 USB NIC that uses one of the listed chipsets in this Fling https://flings.vmware.com/usb-network-native-driver-for-esxi

Then, just follow the step-by-step instructions to make a custom iso here: https://www.virten.net/2020/04/how-to-add-the-usb-nic-fling-to-esxi-7-0-base-image/

yes thank you for your answer, but I would prefer not using an usb Nic.

My mistake was not verifying before buy if my motherboard was compatible.

It was very well authored and easy to understand. Unlike additional blogs I have read which are really not that good.

No, just buy an USB NIC unfortunately.

But I don't spend a lot of time. May I should retry.

Hi fradp97,

Thank you

I've already find this solution already, and now I added it to my esxi's ISO. So I don't need any extra conf.
