ESXi-7.0U2a-17867351-standard 8

hello, a doubt I use the version ESXi-7.0U2a-17867351-standard (VMware, Inc.) I want to change to 8, if I update it deletes the machines that I have configured

No, even if you don't have a vCenter only a standalone host, you will not lose your VMs.

You need only to be careful in choosing the correct option during the upgrade.

- > Upgrade ESXi and Preserve VMFS Datastore. <- Correct option to choose.
