ESXi 5.5.0 Host memory status alert

One of my hosts has triggered a "Host memory status" warning on its alerts tab.

I checked under the hardware status tab and saw the following:

vm.png

So it is saying there is a memory warning at the top level of the memory category, however there are no further warnings or other information if I drill down below that.

How can I understand what this warning means?

It looks like this KB article might be what you are looking for: http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=206109...

It suggests that you clear the hardware logs on the server, reset the event log, and reboot the host. Hopefully that clears it up.

have you checked the logs in DRAC?

maybe you find more information there....
