Using a Supermicro 4P Opteron/80GB RAM setup here. On ESXi 5.1 PCI passthrough works flawlessly; however, after I upgraded last to ESXi 5.5U2 night the message under Hardware>Advanced is now "The host does not support passthrough configuration" and the "Configure Passthrough" option is greyed out/disabled.
The motherboard in the server is a Supermicro H8QG6-F and I currently have the following PCI-E devices connected: Intel quad gigabit nic, 2-port USB 3.0 card, MSI Radeon 5450 video card and LSI 8888ELP RAID card.
Any ideas? Perhaps moving to an earlier update version? U1?
