Domain authentication silently dropping away

Hi all,

I've noticed that since setting up my ESX 4.1.0 server to authenticate via remote active directory it seems to randomly lose it. The permissions disappear and trying to add them in again I can not see the domain, just the local server.

Going into authentication services under configuration I can see I am still a member of the domain. If I leave the domain and rejoin it everything works fine.

The AD server is firewalled, however I left the firewall completely open to that host for a day and still had the same issue.

Could anyone give me suggestions of the direction to go?

Hey all,

Any suggestions? I'm happy to try anything or go check any logs, however I'm unsure of exactly what to check and where. Also happy to post in a different forum if I'm in the wrong area.
