Console Sessions

This is freaking me out. I just installed VMware ESXI 6.5 nd has a guest OS of  Windows 2016. After a while that the guest OS is powered on, there will be a pop up message on the top of the screen that will say "(#) other users have console sessions open to this virtual machine".

Do I need to be concern with this or this is just a false info?

How would I know if somebody is login to my VM console?

Thank you so much for the help.

Hi,

Check the virtual machine events on HTTP Client or Web Client, you will find related log to the console session.

Also some times, the message will appear if you have opened two console at same time.

Hi ITMadeSimple

Log into webclient, click on that VM - please go to Monitor>Tasks&Events>Events>

There you will find the time stamps "Description: A ticket of type MKS has been acquired" with the user who has the console access.

Thanks DavoudTeimouri, check the events for HTTP or Web Client but did not find any. So I guess this is just false positive.

There were one time that it said that  15 other users is on my VM.

Thanks Again for your reply.
