Backup OF VM

Dear Friends,

We are using VMware ESXi 4.0 Linux host server and Vsphere client on windows XP machine for installing VM .

now how can take backup of VMs.

Hi

Please explain more what backup you want, do you require a full backup of a VM taken everyday OR just once.

There are many ways to do VM backup, refer to the following community thread

You can also use VMWare converter to make a copy of your VM outside your ESXi server but this is a manual process and will require you to shut down the VM.

First i tell you >> i download a VMware ESXi 4.0 server which is 60 days trial ver but i register and download the licence key for this product and now he showing never expire.

and than create a VM ( fedora ) through VSphere client.

yes i want to take full backup of a VM in every week ends.

can u send screen shorts step by step how to take backup .
