Thanks for this!  I added a pre-defined setting to my copy to help me migrate IE11 favorites to Edge automatically.  By disabling the favorites database in Edge, you can set up an easy application migration in UEM to move the favorites files from the classic IE directory to the Edge directory.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppContainer\Storage\microsoft.microsoftedge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\MicrosoftEdge\Main]

"FavoritesESEEnabled"=dword:00000000

I also added these to supress the "first time" page

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppContainer\Storage\microsoft.microsoftedge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\MicrosoftEdge\Main]

"IE10TourShown"=dword:00000001

"IE10TourNoShow"=dword:00000001

Does this template work with Win10 build 1703?

I do see zip file being created etc, but History & Favorites roaming doesn't seem to work  neither roaming of Edge settings

I have a problem with saving the setting of the favorites bar - it doesn`t remember this setting, any updates on this? (W10 1703)

In UEM 9.2 this setting is included and seem to work with Win10 1703.

For example the favorites bar setting is saved in my environment.

Hi Levin1, thanks for the reply - I just tested it with these settings:

#

# Expanded settings for Windows Common Setting 'Microsoft Edge':

#

[IncludeRegistryTrees]

HKCU\SOFTWARE\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppContainer\Storage\microsoft.microsoftedge_8wekyb3d8bbwe

HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MicrosoftEdge

[IncludeFolderTrees]

<LocalAppData>\MicrosoftEdge

<LocalAppData>\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe

But still nothing saved on Windows 1703 - latest UEM

Nothing gets saved for Edge?

Or are you only missing the Favorites Bar?

Is DirectFlex enabled?

I have two Environments with UEM 9.1 + UEM 9.2

With UEM 9.1 I'm using this Edge zip. It's working without Problems. I only changed Direct Flex to "Export at logoff" like in UEM 9.2

With UEM 9.2 I'm using the Integrated Edge config, which is working as well without any changes.

If the user activates the favorites bar in Edge, it will be saved for the next logins.

Direct Flex is not enabled - I just created the Common Setting and that`s it. We have set it to Export at logoff as our default.

I tested it again and I think nothing got saved although the logs show otherwise.

Thanks for the help!

I think you have to enable DirectFlex for this config file (it should be by default)

Settings must be imported when launching Edge. UWP Apps can overwrite settings when you launch it.

If you Import Settings at logon, I think it won't work. Please try with DirectFlex enabled, in the DirectFlex Tab of your Edge config

Yeah that`s it - thanks for helping.

I only found now this article: New 9.2 Microsoft Edge Flex Config - Issues

Explaining my exact issues.
