I have physical Windows 2000/2003 Servers that have multiple IP addresses assigned to one NIC. I want to make sure that when I convert this physical machines to a VM, that all the IP address are manually copied over to the VM adapter. Is there a method to allow this to happen without manually having to reenter all the IP in VMware Accelerated AMD PCNET adapter? This seems simple, but I have not been able to find a solution.
Welcome to the forums.
I am pretty sure this is manual.
I boot my P2Ved boxes with network unattached, and set the IPs as I want them.
Then I power down the guest and the physical box, and only power back on the guest.

I was afraid that might be the answer. I have 20 IP addresses assigned to one NIC. I will just manually copy the IP addresses. Thank you.
Would this help you?
