VMware Cloud on AWS service provides simple yet flexible options to consume VMware’s powerful software capabilities and AWS’s elastic, bare-metal infrastructure as a combined offering with support included. This offering can be purchased on-demand, or as 1-year or 3-year subscription. If you choose on-demand option, you will be billed at the end of the month in arrears and if you choose 1-year or 3-year subscription option, you can either prepay upfront or pay in monthly installments Longer-term subscription of hosts gives you up to 50% cost saving compared to on-demand hosts consumed over the equivalent period. Host subscriptions are available in 1-year or 3-year terms. If you choose a 1-year or 3-year subscription option, you can prepay upfront or pay in monthly installments (only available for selected routes to markets and transaction types. Please contact your sales representative). This pricing is MSRP. Minimum required configuration for production environment is 2 hosts per cluster. Above the minimum, hosts can be added or removed in 1 unit increments. At this time, 3 to 2 host scale down is not yet available. Please note that Single Host and 2 host options are not available for i3en.metal host type.
