If you are trying to upgrade your VCP NV 2022 to VCP NV 2024, follow the path called "VCP in any track with a 2021 version or newer" or "VCP-NV 2021 or Newer" on this page https://www.vmware.com/learning/certification/vcp-nv-nsxt.html.

Step 3, in both paths, lists the required exams - you only need to pass one of the exams listed to earn your VCP NV 2024.

VMware certifications don't expire, they just become out of date, obsolete, and less relevant over time as they are based on old versions.

My Microsoft Certified Professional for Windows 95 isn't much use these days 😉
